NANDTB-Germany

The ITANDTB (Italian Aerospace NDT Board) has been constituted on 1st July 2004, willed and chartered by the following prime companies: Aermacchi, AgustaWestland, Alenia Aeronautica, Alenia Spazio, Alitalia, Avio, Microtecnica, Piaggio Aero Industries. ITANDTB is positioned in Unavia (the Italian Standardisation and Training Association for the Aerospace Sector - Associated Body of Italian Standardisation Organization (UNI)). 

The AIAD (the Italian Association of Aerospace, Systems and Defence Companies) and the UNAVIA have been selected by the Board to provide, respectively, the technical and administrative secretariat’s services. With Initial Operational Capability the ITANDTB has been working since that date.
October, 13th 2004 : ITANDTB is recognized by the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC): representatives of ENAC and MOD are observer members in the Executive Committee of the Board on the same date. The ITANDTB reaches a Full Operational Capability. 

The President is Mr. Raffaele MURO Director of UNAVIA.
The Vice Chaiman is Mr. Luigi G. MERLETTI from AGUSTA.
Mr. Roberto DEL TORO as AIAD Member in the ITANDTB acts as Executive Secretary and Point of Contact (P.o.C.).
